my standing on global warming.
Sudden climate transitions have been theorized to be changing our world. “Global Warming” or “Global Heating” has become a phenomena sweeping across the globe pushing many to believe that disaster is upon us. However, climate variation is a common theme in Earth’s history. From glacial ice ages to unbearable heat eras, climate has drastically changed many times throughout time leading one to suspect that this “Global Warming” is just another part of the cycle. In the past fifty years, the crisis of global warming has become a focal point of attention. Intense periods of warming and cooling dot the phanerozoic and are more extreme than the warming today. Fear of the melting polar ice caps convinces a lot of people that the human race is in danger due to the warming of the planet. The carbon dioxide is just one of numerous reasons for the change and doesn’t even compare to more evident theories. For all the research we’ve done it isn’t and may never be enough to understand the natural occurrence of climate change. Earth’s climate is full of variability and instability and one cannot be so narrow minded when studying the causes of climate change. Global warming isn’t an artificial occurrence created by man. It’s a natural cyclical cycle and its part of a cycle that man has yet to see. We, as the human race have only been around during the end of an inter-glacial period (ice age) and have yet to experience a warming period here on Earth. The Earth changes and if we want to be ready for when it does then
