currently is the public in a state of fear by global warming?
No. i believe the fear of global warming has diminished significantly in the public eye. due to recession, president election, 2010 midterm elctions the public is more focused on politics and economics at the moment. a climatic crisis doesnt seem to be an issue on the frontier as much as it used to be. the media is usually the outlet for a state of fear. millions watch the news, read in the paper, or read online. during the global warming trend there always seemed to be an article about the climate and it changes. as the public saw these they began to fear global warming and its consequences. as the years past the global warming trend trickled away then in 2009 the presidential election came into focus along with the recession. now the media is usually discussing politcs, or the end of the recession. i read the paper and watch the news almost daily and rarely see an article or section about global warming. and after a winter like this in the US with record snowfalls i believe the public will lose more if not all fear left of global warming.
